The Phal Club, a gay-friendly establishment, is open for business in November 2022. Located in a very lively, thriving nightlife on Street 172, the club has become the best-known gay bar in Phnom Penh.
I named this bar after my father, Phal, because he was an exemplar in my life. He worked extremely hard to help his family.
My father passed away 12 years ago, and I plan to continue his legacy through this business, drawing up a crowd of gay people from around the world who share my love for Cambodia and her people.
My father had always stood by me and motivated me to be strong and fight for LBGTQ+ rights as human rights.
The Phal Club is a celebration of my father’s acceptance and unconditional love for me regardless of my sexual orientation. He strongly urged me to fight against all stigma and discrimination against same-sex love.
I hope you can come and join me in this celebration in pride and in support of our LBGTQ+ community here. We wait to welcome you with open arms.
On the calendar of 2002, there will be a Christmas party, on December 23, from 17:00-12. The party theme is the sixties and seventies. Come dressed in bell bottoms and body wrapped shirt. We are traveling back to Cambodia’s once-thriving rock ‘n roll past, influenced by the music of the United States of America.
Come to dance, BBQ, and limited free drinks.
